Lidded Box for Enclosure Fit Checks

Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape and FreeCAD all read STEP, the ISO 10303 standard, which lets a storage box be placed in an enclosure, shelf or kit design to check fit. The STEP Storage Box writes the box as a faceted mesh in STEP, not an exact parametric CAD solid. It starts from a typed inside size with 2 mm walls and floor, and a Lid of Hinged (one piece, 0.4 mm clearance), Snap (groove 3 mm below the rim) or Slide (0.3 mm play). StarForge 3D Modeling Software also exports a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing with lids flat side down.
