Armor Scale Sheet for Costume Fitting

STEP Scale Mail places a flexible armor sheet into Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Onshape through the ISO 10303 exchange format, for fitting it to a helmet, bracer or chest piece design. The STEP is a faceted mesh, not an exact parametric solid, so it serves as reference geometry. Round, hexagon or pointed scales are pinned with clearance and bend along rows and columns. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also writes a 3D Print STL File that prints in place in one piece with no supports for 3D printing.
