Platonic Solids for Engineering Classes

Engineering classes using Fusion 360, Onshape or SolidWorks can import shapes through STEP, the ISO 10303 standard, with the STEP Polyhedron Maker. The file holds a faceted mesh, not an exact parametric CAD solid, which still suits flat-faced Platonic solids and a truncated icosahedron for reference. A torus, trefoil knot, Menger sponge or Sierpinski pyramid can be made solid or as a frame of 3 mm struts, fractal levels 1 to 4.
