Photo Lithophane Panel for Lamp Design

Lamp designers working in Fusion 360, SolidWorks or FreeCAD can import a photo panel through STEP, the ISO 10303 standard, with the STEP Lithophane Maker. The panel arrives as a faceted mesh, never an exact parametric CAD solid, which is fine for fitting a shade or base around it. A dropped photo becomes Flat, Curved or Cylinder at a chosen Width, dark areas thick and light thin, 0.8 to 3 mm in a 3 mm frame. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also hands over a 3D Print STL File, the one for 3D printing the panel itself.
