Butt Hinge Reference for Furniture Design

Furniture and enclosure designers in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or FreeCAD can import a hinge through STEP, the ISO 10303 standard, with the STEP Hinge Generator. The STEP is a faceted mesh, never an exact parametric CAD solid, so it serves as a fitted reference rather than editable features. Length, Leaf Width and Knuckles set it, with 3.5 mm countersunk screw holes 8 mm from the ends, 0.4 mm clearance and a 3 mm pin. For the working part, StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File, ready for 3D printing assembled.
