OBJ is text, so a dense sculpt from ZBrush or a phone scan saved that way can run to hundreds of megabytes. Reduce OBJ File Size reads it in the browser and decimates the mesh to 300,000 triangles, the same shape in a fraction of the size, light enough to share and slice. UV maps and .mtl materials are not carried over. StarForge 3D Modeling Software does the polygon reduction with nothing uploaded and saves a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, without learning Blender.
