View 3D Scans With Vertex Colour Online

A fresh 3D scan from Polycam, a structured light scanner or Meshroom photogrammetry is often a PLY, the Polygon File Format created at Stanford, which can carry colour on every vertex. The PLY Viewer opens that scan in the browser with nothing uploaded, so it can be turned, zoomed and checked from the front, side and top for holes or stray specks. Dimensions On shows how big the scanned object really is in millimetres. Stills and turntable clips come from Export Image and Export Video.
