Reverse Engineer Scans in Fusion 360

Reverse engineering often starts with a scanned PLY that has to sit inside Fusion 360, SolidWorks or FreeCAD as an ISO 10303 STEP reference. The PLY to STEP Converter writes the Polygon File Format mesh into STEP in the browser, free and with nothing uploaded. The STEP is a faceted mesh body, not a parametric CAD solid, so it is traced over or measured rather than edited. It brings scan data into CAD. A 3D Print STL File of the scan is ready for 3D printing from StarForge 3D Modeling Software as well.
