Scan Reference for Legacy CAD

Older CAD stations that only read IGES, the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification, can still use scan data once it is converted. The PLY to IGES Converter saves a Polygon File Format mesh as IGES right in the browser, at no cost and with no upload. The IGES holds a faceted mesh, never exact parametric surfaces, so the scan appears as triangles for reference. Engineers can model around it in legacy software.
