MeshLab and CloudCompare open the Polygon File Format, or Stanford Triangle Format, where a track can be compared with a scan of an existing model tank or robot base. PLY Tank Tracks writes a tank tread of any number of 6 mm links, joined by pin hinges with 0.4 mm clearance, each link with a grouser bar under it and a guide horn over it. The number of links and their width are picked on the page. The track also downloads as one 3D Print STL File, flat and support-free, so StarForge 3D Modeling Software is set for 3D printing.
