Scale Mail Armor With Checked Clearances

PLY Scale Mail writes the Polygon File Format, the Stanford mesh that MeshLab and CloudCompare read, useful for measuring the clearance between pins and scales before committing to a long print. The sheet of round, hexagon or pointed scales bends along rows and columns because every scale is pinned to its neighbours with clearance. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also writes a 3D Print STL File; scale shape, size, columns and rows are set on the page, and the sheet prints in place with no supports in 3D printing.
