PLY Roof Shingles write the Polygon File Format, the Stanford mesh MeshLab and CloudCompare read, useful for measuring joint depth or checking a sheet against a scanned building. The sheet shows roof shingles, roof tiles, slate, clay tiles, stone or brick at 1:24 to 1:100 or 28 mm, sized from real ones so joints never close, and stands 1.5 mm thick. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also saves a 3D Print STL File that prints flat, pattern up, with no supports in 3D printing.
