Polygon File Format meshes from Stanford's PLY spec are what MeshLab and CloudCompare handle best, so the PLY Planter Generator suits anyone comparing a design against a scanned windowsill, analysing wall thickness or feeding a research pipeline. The pot is round, square or hexagon at any width and height, sides narrowing to a 3 mm base with three 8 mm drain holes and 2 mm walls throughout. The drip tray, a separate file, is 3 mm wider all round with a 12 mm rim. StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports the planter as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
