The Polygon File Format, called the Stanford Triangle Format, is read by MeshLab, CloudCompare and scanning software, where a sign can be checked against a scan of the door it will hang on. PLY Name Sign writes a rounded plate with raised letters, 1 mm proud on a 4 mm plate, and screw holes for a 4 mm countersunk screw unless switched off. Words and width are typed in. A 3D Print STL File of each sign is also produced, so StarForge 3D Modeling Software is set for 3D printing a custom sign for home or business.
