PLY, the Stanford Polygon File Format, opens in MeshLab, CloudCompare and scanning software, so the PLY Greeble Generator can sit beside a scanned model or a mesh being cleaned up. Each sci-fi panel carries plates, vents, rivets and pipes at a set size and a light, medium or busy density, Shuffle lays them out, and the same number repeats the panel. It is 3 mm thick, details up to 2 mm proud. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also makes a 3D Print STL File that prints flat with no supports for 3D printing kitbash parts.
