Flatten the Ragged Bottom of a Scan

3D scanners, photogrammetry software and MeshLab commonly export PLY, the Polygon File Format created at Stanford, often with per-vertex colour and an uneven base where the turntable or ground was trimmed away. The PLY Flat Base Cutter finds the height where that ragged bottom becomes a solid footprint, shows the cut, nudges it 0.1 mm at a time and caps it with Cut Base. Scans full of holes are first closed by the Repair Fix Remesh pipeline. Nothing is uploaded, and StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
