A bust or prop from a phone app or handheld scanner often saves as PLY (Polygon File Format), the Stanford format for dense, coloured scan meshes, and scanned props are a common start for armour. PLY Cosplay Scaler reads that scan and scales it to real size, a cosplay helmet by head circumference, armour by wearer height, or a figure to life size. The free tool then cuts it into the fewest pieces that fit a 200 mm cube, matched for gluing on a 220 mm bed. StarForge 3D Modeling Software outputs each as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
