PLY Building Bricks write the Polygon File Format, the Stanford Triangle Format that MeshLab, CloudCompare and scanning software read with ease. Anyone comparing a scanned brick against its design can load a custom brick or plate of any stud count built on an 8 mm stud pitch, with round tubes underneath and pins on one-wide parts. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also makes a 3D Print STL File of the same part, plus a Fit Test Strip that steps the studs by 0.05 mm across five plates for 3D printing.
