The Polygon File Format, also known as the Stanford Triangle Format, opens in MeshLab, CloudCompare and research tools that inspect meshes vertex by vertex. PLY Building Blocks writes custom plates, bricks and bases as PLY, every one sharing a 10 mm grid, a 4 mm module and a round 5 mm connector so the set interlocks. Flat bottoms on the bases and a fit test strip with five clearances keep 3D printing reliable. Every part also downloads as a 3D Print STL File, so StarForge 3D Modeling Software covers both the measuring and the printing.
