Miniature Planks and Beams With Grain

OFF, Geomview's Object File Format, stores a mesh as plain lines of vertices and faces, handy for scripts that batch-process or analyse geometry, and the OFF Scale Lumber output gives such scripts finely detailed boards. Planks, beams and planking sheets come from real lumber sizes at 1:24 to 1:100 or 28 mm, with fixed grain, the odd knot and V joints, never under 0.8 mm. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also writes a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing miniature lumber for decks and terrain.
