Object File Format is the minimal text mesh of Geomview, still used in academic datasets such as Princeton ModelNet and by geometry processing research code. An OFF file lists only vertices and faces, so nothing warns when the surface is open or self intersecting. OFF Repair fills those holes, joins overlapping and intersecting parts and remeshes the model into a light, closed solid. The repaired shape saves as a 3D Print STL File that any slicer accepts for 3D printing, and StarForge 3D Modeling Software does all of it without Meshmixer or a paid tool.
