The Object File Format, OFF, is a bare text list of vertices and faces from Geomview, read by CGAL, libigl and much geometry research code, handy for testing algorithms on a real planetary surface. The OFF Moon Globe writes a globe with relief from NASA LRO LOLA heights, or NASA MGS MOLA Mars data, at the chosen diameter and height stretch, plus a 15 mm flat at the south pole and a ring stand as a second file. For 3D printing, StarForge 3D Modeling Software also gives the pair as a 3D Print STL File, a detailed moon STL for a desk display.
