Garden Sundial Set to Your Town

Garden designers placing a sundial into a Blender or Rhino scene can take it from OBJ Sundial Generator as a Wavefront OBJ, a plain text mesh almost every 3D program imports. The dial is horizontal, set for a town looked up through OpenStreetMap, with raised hour numbers and a gnomon tilted to its latitude; hour lines follow tan(angle) = sin(latitude) × tan(15° × hours from noon). Once the gnomon faces true north, or true south below the equator, it tells the time. StarForge 3D Modeling Software keeps a 3D Print STL File of it for 3D printing outdoors.
