Wavefront OBJ, the text mesh Blender, Maya and Cinema 4D bring in, makes the OBJ Stair Generator handy for architectural renders and scene blocking. Steps, width and scale are set, and each step follows a true 180 mm rise and 270 mm run, so model, scale and dollhouse stairs look right; at 28 mm Heroic every step is 3.2 mm tall. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also writes the staircase as a solid 3D Print STL File on a flat underside with flat treads and upright risers, so 3D printing needs no supports.
