LWO is the LightWave Object format of NewTek's LightWave 3D, the package behind years of television and film visual effects, and it stores meshes in layers alongside surface settings. A layered LightWave model can hold a whole ship or creature in one file. The LWO Splitter splits that LightWave Object into its separate parts, remeshing each into a 3D Print STL File and dropping floating bits under 1 mm, with nothing uploaded. StarForge 3D Modeling Software turns classic LightWave assets into pieces ready for 3D printing, no LightWave licence needed.
