NewTek's LightWave 3D saves its work as the LightWave Object, an IFF chunk file of points, polygons and surfaces used in film, television and hobby modelling. LWO Mold Maker opens the LWO and builds a two-part mold for it, three round keys to register the halves, one 5 mm pour hole and two 2 mm vents, or a mirrored Stamp of its top on a handle. Candle and soap makers can start from it, knowing a printed mold is untested for casting. StarForge 3D Modeling Software gives back a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
