Building Shapes for Urban Modeling Research

Geometry and urban modeling research sometimes gathers building shapes from KMZ files, then processes them in code that reads the Object File Format. The KMZ to OFF Converter reduces a Zipped Google Earth Model to a vertex and face list and writes OFF inside the browser, free and with nothing uploaded. KML placemarks, textures and coordinates are removed. The shapes become simple inputs for analysis. StarForge 3D Modeling Software can also turn the KMZ into a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
