KMZ Splitter StarForge 3D Modeling Software
Split Google Earth Models into Pieces
A KMZ file is a zipped Google Earth model: KML placement data packed with a COLLADA mesh and its textures, the way SketchUp and 3D Warehouse share buildings for Google Earth. Those models frequently join walls, roofs and trees into one download. The KMZ Splitter unpacks the model and splits it into its separate parts, each remeshed into its own 3D Print STL File, with floating bits under 1 mm dropped and nothing uploaded. StarForge 3D Modeling Software lets a landmark or a house from Google Earth become separate pieces for 3D printing.
