Robotics labs and hobby shops with older CAD packages and machining software still trade parts as IGES, the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification. IGES Tank Tracks saves robot tracks or model tank tracks in it: any number of 6 mm links, pin hinges with 0.4 mm clearance, grouser bars underneath and guide horns on top. The file is a faceted mesh rather than an exact CAD solid. Link count and width are set on the page, and a 3D Print STL File of the track, printed flat as one piece, comes from StarForge 3D Modeling Software for 3D printing.
