Rhino, CATIA and many CAM programs still swap geometry through IGES, the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification, and the IGES Pen Holder writes a desk pen cup for them as a faceted mesh rather than an exact CAD solid. Any Diameter and Height can be typed, with a Pattern of plain, Hex or Slot cut-outs, and the holder keeps 2.4 mm walls and a 3 mm floor. It can sit in a shop drawing or a CNC layout, and StarForge 3D Modeling Software also gives a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing a pencil holder.
