IGES (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification), the long-standing neutral CAD format, still serves older engineering and lab design software. IGES Molecule Model writes a chemistry model as a faceted IGES mesh, not a parametric solid, from any molecule typed by name: PubChem atoms and 3D positions, van der Waals radii, and ball and stick, space filling, wireframe or cloud styles. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also saves a 3D Print STL File, cut flat underneath so it stands for 3D printing, with supports possibly needed for balls and sticks.
