Model makers mixing printed parts with machined ones still meet IGES, the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification, in older CAD, CAM and CNC tools. The IGES Miniature Doors And Windows tool outputs faceted mesh surfaces, never an exact parametric solid, for scale windows and doors at 1:24 to 1:100 or 28 mm, with size and panes chosen. Frames are sized from real ones and never thinner than 2 mm, panes stay open for clear plastic, and a dollhouse door gets raised panels and a knob. StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, flat on its back.
