Steel Beam Profiles for Legacy CAD

Legacy CAD and CAM systems still read IGES (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification), the older neutral exchange format. IGES I Beam writes an I beam, H column, angle iron, C channel, T section, tube or rod in it as a faceted mesh, not a parametric CAD solid, sized by section depth in model millimetres at any length. The H beam is as wide as it is deep and no plate drops below 0.8 mm. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also saves a 3D Print STL File, each piece printed on its widest flat face for 3D printing.
