Involute Spur Gear Pair for Legacy Toolchains

Older CAD and CAM stations, Rhino and machine shop software still read the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification, which makes the IGES Gear Generator useful when a gear has to travel into a legacy toolchain. The file holds the involute spur gear as faceted mesh surfaces rather than an exact parametric CAD solid. Module, tooth count and bore set the gear; a mate turns beside it at the exact centre distance, outlines checked never to overlap, with a 20 degree pressure angle and 0.15 mm backlash. StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File of it for 3D printing.
