Bringing a glTF model into an older CAD package that reads IGES, the Initial Graphics Exchange Specification, takes a format change. The glTF to IGES Converter saves the GL Transmission Format mesh as IGES right in the browser, free and with nothing uploaded. The IGES carries a faceted mesh, never a parametric surface model, so faces stay flat triangles. It serves as a visual reference in legacy CAD.
