Educational simulations in Godot or a web engine, where a sundial's shadow sweeps across the day, are a natural fit for glTF, the Khronos GL Transmission Format of readable JSON plus binary buffers. The glTF Sundial Generator builds that dial for any town found through OpenStreetMap place search: gnomon angled to latitude, raised hour numbers, hour lines at tan(angle) = sin(latitude) x tan(15 degrees x hours from noon). StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing an outdoor dial that reads true facing true north or true south.
