glTF Roof Shingles target the GL Transmission Format, the Khronos standard read by three.js, Babylon.js, Godot and Blender, so a game level or web diorama can share the same slate roof as a printed one. Pattern, sheet size and scale are picked: roof shingles, tiles, slate, clay, stone or brick, 1:24 to 1:100 or 28 mm, with joints that never close. StarForge 3D Modeling Software exports glTF and a 3D Print STL File, 1.5 mm thick and flat, pattern up, so 3D printing needs no supports.
