The GL Transmission Format from the Khronos Group stores a scene as JSON with separate binary buffers and textures, ideal for real time rendering, but its meshes are built for looks, not for solid prints. glTF Repair reads the geometry, fills open edges, joins overlapping and intersecting parts and remeshes the model into a closed, light solid. Materials and animation are left behind, since a printer cannot use them, and the result is a 3D Print STL File ready for 3D printing.
