Many engines and virtual tabletops read the Khronos Group's GL Transmission Format, an open asset format of JSON plus a binary buffer, and the glTF Pipe Fittings write pipe, gutter and ductwork in it. Type, piece, size across and length are set: a straight, 90° elbow or tee that butts end to end, round pipe with bolt heads, a gutter tee that becomes a downspout outlet, rectangular duct with seams. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also saves a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing, laid flat.
