The Khronos Group's GL Transmission Format, glTF, describes a model in readable JSON beside a binary buffer, a layout game engines such as Godot and web code in three.js handle well. glTF Building Bricks export custom bricks and plates of any stud count that way, using an 8 mm stud pitch with round tubes underneath and pins on one-wide parts. A digital set for a game can then match the printed one, since StarForge 3D Modeling Software gives every part as a 3D Print STL File too. Its Fit Test Strip, five plates 0.05 mm apart, tunes fit before 3D printing; the LEGO Group has no part in it.
