Repair Facing Errors in Old CAD Surfaces

Initial Graphics Exchange Specification files date from the early 1980s and still turn up from older CAD and CAM systems, usually as loose trimmed surfaces rather than closed solids. When those surfaces become a mesh, facing errors are common.
