Riggable Tank Treads for Games and Film

Autodesk FBX carries vehicles and props into Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya and 3ds Max, the route for tank tracks that will be rigged or animated in a game or film. FBX Tank Tracks exports a tread of 6 mm links with grouser bars underneath, guide horns on top and pin hinges at 0.4 mm clearance. Link width and the number of links are set on the page. For a real model tank or robot, StarForge 3D Modeling Software also makes one 3D Print STL File that prints flat in one piece with no supports, each link flexing free after 3D printing.
