SketchUp Planters for Spiral Vase Printing
COLLADA, the XML-based Digital Asset Exchange format behind .dae files, is still what SketchUp and many older game and web pipelines export. A planter drawn in SketchUp and saved as DAE goes into the DAE Vase Mode Cutter, which reads its triangles, finds the bottom footprint and the highest single outline, and slices flat at both with each cut capped. The model returns as a closed 3D Print STL File that spiral vase mode handles cleanly in Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer, Cura or Bambu Studio. StarForge 3D Modeling Software readies it for 3D printing without uploading anything.
