Research on building and object shapes often uses COLLADA models from public warehouses, but geometry code prefers the Object File Format. The DAE to OFF Converter strips a Digital Asset Exchange file down to vertices and faces and writes OFF in the browser, free and with nothing uploaded. XML scene detail and materials are removed. It turns 3D Warehouse style models into research inputs. StarForge 3D Modeling Software can also save the DAE as a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
