OpenCascade BREP is the native boundary representation of FreeCAD, CadQuery and other OpenCascade tools, a precise record of faces and edges that does not always mesh cleanly. BREP Repair reads the shape, closes the holes left between faces, joins bodies that overlap or intersect and remeshes everything into one closed, decimated solid.
