Because 3MF, the 3D Manufacturing Format, records millimetre units, a sundial opened in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or Orca Slicer arrives at exactly the size typed on the page. The 3MF Sundial Generator makes a horizontal dial for a town chosen through OpenStreetMap place search, angling the gnomon to its latitude and placing raised hour numbers where tan(angle) = sin(latitude) x tan(15 degrees x hours from noon). Pointed to true north, or true south below the equator, it reads true. StarForge 3D Modeling Software also offers a 3D Print STL File for 3D printing.
