Wedged into the fork of a bare tree, this Verreaux sifaka sits with its long hind legs folded and one hand reaching up to grip a branch. A rounded crown of fur caps the head above a short, lemur-like muzzle, and thick, tufted fur covers the body and limbs. The tail curls beneath its feet around the lower branch, and the dead tree shows knots and grain. It makes an eye-catching display piece for any wildlife or Madagascar-themed shelf.
