A spiny tenrec with a long pointed snout walks forward with its head lowered, its round body covered in dense, thick quills. A raised crest of longer quills rises over the head, and a small curled ear and round eye give it a curious, gentle face. Each of the four slender legs ends in a clawed foot with separated toes, and the pose shows the animal foraging mid-stride. The sculpt is solid with no base, so it stands on its own feet.
