Giant armadillo sculpted standing on four sturdy legs, with a domed banded shell covered in small scutes and a long pointed tail. The tapered snout, small round eyes and upright ears are all sculpted in detail. Huge curved claws on the front feet contrast with the smaller toes on the hind feet, and the leathery skin on the belly and legs has its own pebbled texture. The solid body stands without a base and is clean all the way round. It suits a display shelf, a classroom animal collection or a nature-themed tabletop scene where a realistic burrowing mammal is wanted.
