A graceful demoiselle crane caught mid-stride, one slender leg lifted as it walks forward with its long neck held upright. Every feather on the body is sculpted in layered detail, from the neat plumes along the neck to the long drooping tertials that sweep back over the tail like a soft train. The small head carries a short pointed beak, and the thin jointed legs end in finely splayed toes.
